Clear Image Devices, (CiD), welcomes the opportunity to work with hospitals and clinics to create unique new devices suited to your individual practice needs. CiD along with its development partner, Medical Prototype Devices, has over 30 years of experience developing devices for a range of medical imaging platforms.
Our Process: Client projects start with a free initial discussion of the new device concept to determine if the project falls within the expertise of CiD product engineers. CiD product engineers working with the client create a new device specification identifying the required features, methods of use, and materials to be used in fabrication. The amount of documentation and formality at this point will vary depending on the complexity of the project.
We then build a 2-3 prototypes, receiving feedback from the use of each to help with the next version until we reach a practice ready device.
Costs:
- Product design: $150/hour
- Prototype fabrication: $75/hour
For designs which may result in CiD developed commercial products, CiD may waive part or all of the development fees.
